My name is Melinda and I live in Buffalo, NY with my husband Andrew and our two cats.

 My Values
I believe in finding ways to do what you love and knowing when to ask for help. As much as you might love doing it, no one person can do it all and trying to do so just makes the rest of the project suffer.

For me, a job worth doing is worth doing well, deliberately and with intent. I get the same pride and pleasure from making a beautiful spreadsheet that I get from organizing a successful 2 day conference for 300 attendees.

I also believe that we’re all put on this Earth to serve and help each other accomplish our dreams and goals. Strength is in unity and Collaboration is when everyone contributes by doing what they’re best at.

My Professional Background
During my 16 years in the corporate world, I’ve worked with literally thousands of clients, providing them with email and telephone support that helped them drive business and close deals up to $100,000 or more in size.

I am a born organizer and a strong systems thinker. My creative nature helps me to examine problems from different angles and I’m persistent enough to keep going until I find the right answer. I’m good at having those conversations that uncover the business need. By understanding who will use the information and what they’ll use it for, I can provide the solutions that the clients need, even proposing solutions that hadn’t occurred to them.

I‘ve worked with a lot of different types of people over the years and I’ve had the good fortune to get to know some of them very well. Collaboration seemed more natural with these clients; ideas flowed more freely as we creatively worked toward an answer together. These are the people that I found myself going an extra two miles for and the lure of working with more of these kind of people is what made the idea of Virtual Assistance feel like a natural fit.

The people I’ve most enjoyed working with all have the following in common:

  • They are creative and willing to explore different avenues.
  • They are curious and truly want to understand. They aren’t out for a quick answer.
  • At the same time, they’re intelligent and generous and are pleased to share what they know.
  • They are direct and able to communicate their goals clearly. They value input on how they might be able to reach those goals more effectively.
